Lemons . . .

one of my favorite things!! I love some lemon in my water and tea, or a lemon center piece for the kitchen table. I love the lemony smell when I’m cleaning and I love lemon bars and lemon meringue too! The only thing I have to say that I don’t like is when I get a spritz of lemon juice in my eye

It looks like this pony is just waiting for some bird chirping weather!!! He wants the season that brings rebirth, renewal, regrowth and sunshine . . . SPRING!

A visit with the cousins . . .

Carmine came to visit his cousins for the weekend! They all played so nice together and they were sad to see him have to go home today, but he said he’s coming back!!

Chocolate Chip Dip

1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup confectioners sugar

2 T brown sugar

1 t vanilla extract

1 C (6 0z) miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Graham cracker sticks

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugars and vanilla; beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Serve with graham cracker sticks. Enjoy!

snowfall

I managed to capture this photograph this morning of yesterdays snowfall, before it all melted away! It is actually pretty! It’s cold and makes me want to stay indoors . . . but still pretty!

Boo-boo

Potato-sack race + 4 year old = black eye!

Gavin is VERY proud of his black eye though! He told me he likes his eye like this! I keeps checking himself out in the mirror

Valentine’s Flowers

I was cold and tired today . . . it must be the weather. BUT it was nice to wake up to a beautiful bouquet of flowers on my kitchen table.
